Advertising
You do not need ads all year. You need them in the weeks that are quiet.
A full Saturday does not need help. A dead Tuesday in November does, and so does the week your terrace opens. We put money behind those moments and take it away again afterwards.
Two different rooms
Google and Meta do not do the same job, and paying for them as if they did is how budgets disappear.
Google Ads
People already looking
Somebody is typing “dinner near me, tonight”. They have decided to go out; the only question left is where. This is the cheapest guest to win, and the most contested.
Meta Ads
People who were not looking yet
Instagram and Facebook, to somebody nearby who had no plan. You are not answering a question here — you are creating the evening. Photos of the plate do the work.
The moments worth paying for
Not a switch you leave on. A handful of windows in the year where a euro moves something.
Quiet midweek
Tuesday and Wednesday in the off-season. The tables exist; the guests need a reason.
Terrace opening
The first warm week. The whole town decides where to sit within a few days.
Group season
The weeks before Christmas and New Year, when the bookings are large and made early.
Something new
A new chef, a new menu, a refurbishment. Worth telling people about while it is still news.
Which windows are yours depends on your venue — a beach terrace and a city bistro do not share a calendar.
How we run it
We start from your diary, not from a keyword list: which weeks are actually thin.
We build the campaign around one thing you want more of — covers, not clicks.
Ads point at a page that can take the booking. An ad to a page with no booking button is money spent on a phone call you will miss.
We watch it in the first days and cut what does not move, rather than waiting for the month to end.
When the window closes, the spend stops.
What you get back
- What was spent, on which platform, in which week.
- What came of it: bookings and orders, traced where the platform lets us trace them.
- What we changed and why.
- What did not work. This section is never empty; if it is, we are not looking hard enough.
- A warning when a number is too small to draw a conclusion from.
What advertising will not do
Worth saying before you spend anything.
- It will not fix a menu people do not want. It only brings more people to the same choice.
- It cannot make a slow site fast. Traffic to a bad page is money handed over for nothing.
- It does not work as a permanent tap left running. Constant low spend teaches you nothing and buys little.
- Neither platform can trace every booking to an ad. Anyone who promises exact attribution is guessing.
- It is not a substitute for being findable in the first place — that is the cheaper, slower work.
